a while back my clutch started sticking to the floor under hard acceleration. i have to stick my toe under it and lift it back up and then pump it and it'll go back to normal. here lately it's sticking to the floor under normal driving. anybody know or have any ideas on what the problem could be? thanks in advance.

 

you need new clutch hydraulics, about 2 wks ago, my car was doing the same thing but out of nowhere, just started sitting on the ground and felt very free, $220 later --> no problems

 

Have you ever checked your clutch fluid reservoir under the hood? Maybe the fluid is just really bad.

 

ya! good call, check that, and if thats not low, etc, then its probably bad clutch hydrauclics imo

 

Glad you agree that might be the problem. The reservoir should be on the driver's side by the brake fluid reservoir. I think it is sort of under it if I remember right.

If there is dirt in it, sludge, or there is barely any in there, you'll have to get it changed or something. I've never had to do that, but I'm trying to help!

 

haha i think i emphasized "ya!" too much, i think the chances of it being the fluid is very slim, thats what i was hoping my problem was, but no luck, you can put ur hand over the clutch hydraulic reservoir while someone presses in on the clutch, if you feel it suckinga little, i think ur hydrauclis are good? if they dont suck then yu need new clutch hydrauclis

 

it sounds like the return spring on the pedal broke. check that first!
