Man, they killed my Spot

Years ago we had a spot In north west Houston.
They had started a Neighborhood like 15- 20 years ago but never built houses.

Half mile road. Fire Hydrant on the left marked start, Cross street Marked a quarter mile, and you still had another quarter mile to slow down. If the cops came up the road you could take a right at the end of the street and hit the beltway and head East, if you took a left you could pop out at a cross street to the beltway and choose any direction on the compass. If you turned at the cross street that marked 1/4 mile you could hit three directions. The spot was perfect.
On top of that, the name of the street was "bluff point" Off Bammel north Houston Road... Now it's named something I couldn't care to remember, They have Some warehouse on the road and there is dirt all over the street with grass growing over the curbs out 3-4 feet. You would never get traction.

Truly Heart Broken

Bay town is a long drive from where I am in Houston.
When someone is talking trash and you want to prove a quick point
It's not likely you will get them to travel
two hours for a 14 second ride.

For a fair cool run, trailer your stuff
and drag it all the way there.
That stuff does not just jump it's self onto
the trailer.

So yeah, a 14 second ride from a 2 hour road time
trip, hell it's like asking them to work a day for you
just to get one run out of it.

Racing on main streets is retarded.
Racing on back streets can get you robbed and shot.
Racing on Rankin, can get you ran over, robbed, shot
arrested, license taken away, car confiscated.

That's why I was happy to have my spot.
Only like three or four of us knew of it.
And the people we smacked around on it.

I can do that. If you notice the car in the other lane is that blue Camaro. I won that round against him in Tulsa this year. If we make it to Houston invite all you buddies to come out and race us.

Sadly... but don't we all? (Grow up) I was too "Responsible" to street race growing up. I always liked the idea of knowing I had a car to beat the other guy without having to prove it. Which is probably why I have cheap insurance...lol

I cannot lecture anyone on street racing. Yes I grew up and never do that ignorant crap but 10 years ago I was the queen of it. It was like a high racing. I dont even care about any of that anymore. Granted, I will always have a v8, not that I use it anymore.
