need help deciding what wheels to run
Hay guys I need some help deciding witch wheels to run on my TA. The car will be used only on nice days and for going to the track. Here are some combos I was thinking of running. Please let me know what you think would best fit my needs and not be gay. Oh and I am very laze so switching wheels all the time will most likely not happen much. But as long as the car stays running I want to take it to the tack at least twice a month if not more.
A. Welds 15x3.5 and 15x10 with 275/50/15 555R’s for the street and have matching 15x10’s with slicks on them for the track.
B. Black ZR1’s 17x9.5’s and 17x11’s(I already have these but no tires) with 315/35/17 555R’s for the street and buy some weld 15x10 for some slicks or use my stock 16x8 with slicks.
C. I was kind of thinking sense I am so laze I could run the 15x3.5’s on the front and 17x11’s for the street and have some 15x10’s with slicks. That way I only have to change one set of wheels when I go to the track. I don’t know how good this would look thou.
D. What would you do?
And if I don’t use my ZR1’s should I take my chrome 10 spokes off of my SS and put the ZR1’s on it?
Thanks

Well the obvious answer would be go with the Zr-1's its cheaper plus you cant go wrong with 17x11's in the rear
As for what rims for the track. welds would be better but the stockers are cheap
So its your choice.
Thats my $0.02

U sound like me. I had zr1's on mine for a while and they made me extremely slower on the street and track. Now I have prostars w/ e.t.'s and have run alot better at the track and street. My only problem now is a can't run et's 24/7 so I have prostars in the front with stock salad shooters in the back with nitto's. I really don't like this either since it doesnt look good or hook that good as well. SO now I am going to get me another set of rear prostars with niitos, for the street and have the et's for the track. My car is daily driven and track once a month.
I hope this helps you

blksunshine,
That is exactly what I am thinking. This car is only going to be used on the weekends for fun and going to the track. Tires for 15in rims would be a lot cheaper too.
Ok so now should I keep my chrome 10 spokes on my Red SS or put the solid black ZR1's on it?
