Post Need someone in Houston with A-Tap-will pay...

I was wondering if anyone in Houston who HAS A-tap and has experience with tuning A/F can help me tune my car. I bought an MAFT but don't have the A-tap software (or laptop) yet.
I'll pay you for your time. EMAIL ME - segovia22@hotmail.com
Thanks,
Frank
ps: I'll be kicking this one up to the top a couple of times....

Just a thought -

have ya priced any shops to have this done, or are they all "too busy" ??

P.S. How's it been running since the plug change ?

Britt! How are things man. For me things have been good and bad since the plug change. Since then I have installed a cam and headers on the car which is great but I've been running EXCESSIVELY rich, which is bad I tried to ignore it for a while but I've had enough since I've stopped gaining horsepower and just gaining more smoke. So I changed the plugs about a month and a half ago again and the were toasted. I dynoed the car again and nothing but lots of black smoke at WOT. So I bought an MAFT and now am looking for someone to help me out with the A-Tap tuning. It runs good at crusing speeds but when I stomp it's a mess.
I was considering shops and granted I haven't called them but they usually cost an arm and a leg to do anything that route. So now I'm just looking around to see if anyone will help.
Hope to find someone
cya man,
Frank

Thumbs up

Cam, huh ?

I was kinda thinking about having one done myself, but just don't have the spare green laying around ...

I had the plugs done on mine.

( $100.00 labor @ Nathaniel's Auto Performance 713 780 8666 - good pair of guys ! )

What RWHP were you @ before ??

My car was dynoed for the prior owner @ 316 RWHP , but I have no idea what all was on the car @ the time other than the Borla & stall. Probably had the lid on as well, and maybe the HPP3 - just dunno.

That's "interesting" that you are running rich - I would have that that a bigger cam = more airflow in the motor & thus if anything a leaner condition as the injectors are a fixed size.

Shows you how much I know !!

Best to ya, and, of course,

TTT !

Britt
