i have a reaarend out of my 96 SS that i am selling. it has a girdle on it and it has 3.42 gears. it is it real good shape nothing wrong with it just ordered my 9in and dont need it anymore.it doesnt have any brakes on it either.

about 100k on the rearend doesnt whine nothing is wrong with it, just putting a 9in under the car. never has been launched hard either. best 60ft was a 2.15
