I think we're going to head out tomorrow, gonna be really, really hard to leave the '65 behind. I have all the cars up in the air, but if the garage blows away I guess it won't really matter....

Ryan, if your gonna Hold up in H-town, your welcome to my place for the weekend.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the offer. The fam and I are stockpiling food, flashlights, guns, and effort into my parent's house. I moved potential "missiles" this afternoon, and we're cutting down a potentially hazardous tree tomorrow.

Good luck man. I'll give you a call or at least send you a text message Saturday afternoon. Good luck man. Take care of that family!

Good luck everybody. Hopefully the end won't be as bad as Katrina, due to the fact that Texas is above sea level.

I've heard some dirty stories about traffic going out of Houston. Good luck to anyone that has to fight it.

They are predicting some weakening as well. The winds have dropped 10mph this morning from last night. Back down to 165. Still a lot of wind, I know, but hopefully it should continue to slow down.

I hope not, I would hate for a part of Texas to be the same way.

Best of luck to everyone... Especially those that stayed to weather the storm.

Re: Rita: Good Luck Fbuds!

Traffic was terrible... I left the Clear Lake area Thursday @ 2:00 AM and arrived in The Woodlands @ 2:00 PM. I avoided I-45 and 59 N as much as I could, but it still took me 12 hours. Oh well, I made it out of there, that's the important thing. I hope everyone else made it okay.
