i know i havent been much into the group thing yet, but i am trying. where ever there is a bunch of f-buds, i am gonna try and make it there. but hooters kinda kills me. the wife doesnt like that idea. and you guys know how it is, if the wife dont like it then i dont like it
besides, that hooters way the hell on the other side of town. and the food there, well i know i have had better. cant we be original and pick a better place? besides, why go to hooters when you can go eat at all stars for the same price. minus the brew of course.

I hear you, we're just trying this out to see what kind of turnout we get. If others would like to chime in on where to meet I'm all ears. This is everyone's club and I want to make this worthwhile for everyone to go to. With such a low turnout lately we needed to spice up the meets. Nathan has done a good job at organizing a few track days. We need some more participation from all of you. If you have ideas don't be afraid to share them. It's all up to you what you want to get out of the club.

 

This is the exact reason why we moved the meets to the pig...and since then our meets have had terrible turn-outs. I haven't been to one in quite a while, but the suggestion to meet at Hooters has "motivated" me to go. I'm a single guy, but can understand that the wife mod won't like the new location. That's why I think the Tuesday night meets are a good idea. The locations differ so that driving distance varies...and the wifey's probably won't mind you guys hanging out at Sonic. I'm willing to bet that if we keep the meets at Hooters, we will have turn-outs like we used too...a dozen or so cars. Just giving my $.02

I actually may not be able to make it to this one unless I can catch a ride with someone, my license gets suspended on friday.

But I do have some film I need to use up so I'd like to get some pictures of y'alls cars.

 

That sucks, dude. I'd like to echo the sentiments of 1fastV6. I mean sure the chicks at Hooters have some well... but the food tastes like CRAP!! Plus, the one on 281 is far out from where I am., although thats not a BIG problem. Some of the places he mentioned sounded allright, except for Dave & Buster's they have like 60 racing machines and 2 of everything else.

Why don't we meet at that sports bar on the River Walk? I've never been there but personally, there's no better place in the world for a bunch of guys to hang out, have a good time, eat some good food etc. except a SPORTS BAR. The chicks there aren't as "fully armed" as the ones at Hooters, but damn they look good. And we won't have to sacrifice cleavage for good food there either. Plus, its downtown, so its pretty much as far away frrom EVERYONE as opposed to some people having to drive 45 minutes to get to Hooters and others driving 5 or vice versa @ Sonic or wherever.
