he has ripped off a local porter in town I personally hooked him up with and some others...I will be contacting some to see if they want to post about it themselves or if I should just post it for them...

he blatantly brags about all the "suckers" he gets online...

I believe some of you should become aware of this before you do business with this crook....he sells parts for ridiculous prices sometimes to people who do not know any better and have just entered the hobby of moddifying their cars...thats bull $hit IMO

I am sure I will be flamed for this but hopefully some of you who have shared your "experiences" with Brook and have asked me to make this post will have the ***** to post about it in this thread..

 

i just know he tried to sell me some ls1 heads for my v6 back in the day....since then I just ignore pretty much anything he has to say.

Brook is a one-stop shop. If you don't have a problem of possibly buying "hot parts" then you can deal with him.

I've heard of people getting ripped off by him, so if you do deal with him, just be wary and double check around and see if he's charging fair market value. Kinda hard not to rip some people off because if they're willing to pay more than they should then why should you stop them. Apparently it was between "friends" though so that's pretty bad.

from what I can remember, and I've got a good memory, I've never heard 1 bad thing about brook on this board, as a matter of fact I can remember 50-100 good ones though. If you're gonna try and drag someones name through some mud, bring proof! Where are all of these people that he ripped off? Have them post there experiences, and let everyone here be the judge. He's been around here forever, has never gotten a complaint until you, and always gives good advise. Do us all a favor and **** OFF@

And about the stolen parts, if he happens to get a good deal, and can pass that on to some members, big damn deal, someone's gonna buy them! Sure, it may not be the most ethical thing in the world, but we live in a place where our president was getting head in the oval office, who cares.

You haven't the pleasure to have met him so you can't really say anything about who he is, or how he does business. Why would someone from Maryland or New Jersey bother reading anything in the Texas Section anyway? seems odd to me.

Brook has always been unstable at best. When I saw this post I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in seeing as how I know him and how he does business. Even if he gave me a good deal, I wouldn't buy from him for the simple fact that I know he wouldn't be 100% honest about the part's history. ie, how old it is, how long it's been on a car, how much he paid for it, where he got it, and so on.

If you like him that's great. Keep doing business with him.

EDIT: Brook is just a salesman. He'll do just about anything to make a sale and all that that implies.

Unstable? What are you a goddamn shrink now? That's fine, don't buy from him, but don't ambush him for others to see, if you have a problem with him, email him, don't post it online for everyone to see when you have no one backing you up. Who cares how much he paid for anything, people will only pay what they want to, he's not breaking there hand making them pay more for it!

I've never done business with him, but there are hundreds here who have, all incident free. Who care's if hes a salesman, people have never had an issue with him except you, who's the unstable one here?
