1997 z28 camaro new tires and rims
Hello, I want to get new tires for my car which would be Toyo Proxes 4 Plus either 245/45R17 or 245/40R17 in the front and 275/40R17 for the rear with the rims in the picture. Would there be any reason why it wouldn’t fit due to rubbing? I just want to be sure before purchasing everything. I also have stock suspension if that matters. Thanks in advance

Those wheels correspond to a 45mm offset, so they will be OK. Rear 275/40-17 tires are OK at 25.7” diameter. In the front, the diameter of the 245/40-17 (24.7”) is too small. The 245/45-17 (25.7”) is a better match to the stock diameter, and will match the rears.
If your car had 235/55-16 stock (base Z28) they were 26.1” diameter, and the speedometer will read about 2% slower than actual speed with the 275/40-17's. If the car had 245/50-16 stock (Z-rated option) speedometer will not be affected.
Personally, I would recommend 275/40-17 on all four corners. That was the stock size, with 17x9 50mm offset wheels on the SS coupes.
