265-35-18 tires?

Re: 265-35-18 tires?
You aren't getting answers because you posted on the wrong forum.... I'll move it to "Wheels and Tires" for you.
A 265/35-18 is about 1/2" smaller than stock tire diameter, so its not a good choice. That opens up the gap between the tire and the fender slightly, provides a narrower sidewall for less rim protection from potholes and a harsher ride, and screws up your speedo unless you correct in the PCM.
You should be looking at a 275/35 or a 285/35 if your wheels are 9.0-9.5" wide. Whether they will rub depends on the width and offset of ther wheels they are on. If you locate the wheels correctly in the wheel wells, 285's should not be a problem.... the WS6 and SS models came with 275's from the factory and they don't rub. Many of us are running 315's in the back with minor hammering.
