Quick one about some tires

I've searched before on some tire questions, but I guess I need to ask which tires would be best for my application. I prefer the low profile look for f bodies, but I really want whatever tires the majority on this board would recommend. I will only be driving my car on weekends as I have a honda daily driver (4 banger). See mods in sig. I have more $$$ in mods than I spent on the car, and I don't want to be frugal with tires. I probably won't ever get any other rear gears other than my 3.42's. Any info is great, thanks!

thanks so far guys, but I can't seem to find prices for the bfg drag radials. also, are the drag radials OK for everyday driving? I mean, do they wear out super fast around curvy roads and such?

DR's for your car will be about $300 a pair. Nitto's take longer to wear out than BFG's, but are both safe for normal driving.

hey, san jose up in the house. I'm from there!
yeah, I had some nittos on this car before and I liked them. The particular ones I had did not last for $hit, but I think they were cheap (prev owner).

Goodyear F1 tires. IMO, an all around very good tire.

here is an added bonus question. I really like the white rims from the factory and therefore don't want new rims unless they are white, but of course mine are 16 inch cause I don't have an SS. Would it be worth it to splurge on good tires for my 16 inch rims, or wait til I find a good deal on some white 97 SS rims and THEN get good tires?

hmm, I never really thought of that.. but wouldn't those still be like $200 a rim plus another $170 per tire? I'm clueless to the tire world cause my car had nitto high performance ones when I bought it used. Would the 17 inch rims make any sort of NOTICABLE difference?
