Wheels for '95, what size can I go with.

Hey guys,

I searched on wheels and there is a lot of info, but I still want to make a question.

I would like to get some 18" wheels for my '95. I like chrome and a deeper dish look.

In fact, I really like something like these C6 wheels, but full chrome:

For you guys that run 18s, what offset/rim/width do you run? Even the C5 Z06 rims are nice, but I'd rather a single spoke then double like that. What size do these older Z06 rims come in?

I was thinking 265/35/18s in front and 295/35/18 in rear. Something like 18x9.5" front and 18x10.5 rear.

I'm willing to roll the fender, but I don't want to hammer. Spacers are ok.
Car will be stock rideheight or 1" lower max, and will have aftermarket shocks/bushings/control arms and adj. PHR.

What do you guys think?

And lastly, show me what 18" wheels you have and how you like them.

I really like these wheels. 18.9.5 and 18.10.5.

Anyone know what I would need to mount them. I'm sure someone on this board has them!

Thanks guys.

Re: Wheels for '95, what size can I go with.

I got some 19" TSW Mondello rims with Toyo Proxes T1-S's with 95-100% tread life left and around 3000 easy miles on them. I sold the car and just got bunch of left over stuff from it like the tires and wheels - ram air hood - trans am hatch - wings west body kit....but anyways i paid 2700 for them installed and i want $1200 for them plus shipping but if shipping is over $200 i will just charge the 200 for shipping and if its less its less. Anyways pm me if interested.

Here's a link for the tires wheel on my firebird. they fit stock height and no problems or nothing at full turning radius it didn't rub or nothing.

Re: Wheels for '95, what size can I go with.

Thanks, I'll consdier them, only problem is I'm in Canada and shipping/border crap might be a problem/expensive.

What size are the 19" rims (width) and what tire size?

I was thinking more along the lines of 18s as the roads around here are not that great. Also, the ones I want I don't think are available in 10.5" wide, only 9.5".

What size tires can I run on 9.5" wide rim (18x9.5)? I wanted wider in the rear, but too bad these rims don't come wider.

Any other rims that look similar and are available wider?

Any pics?

Car is a red '95 Trans Am w/o t-tops.

Thanks.

Re: Wheels for '95, what size can I go with.

My tires are 245/35ZR19's I can get an estimate on shipping if you give me a zip code or some type of postal code, than i can get back to you. Sorry I don't know tire sizes or nothing besides that a 245 is 24.5 inches and 35 I don't know what the width of that is. But if you go to the link below it should calculate what size you want.

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Forgot to add I am pretty sure I went with the 8" wide rims instead of the 9.5" wide rims.
