Will Nt05R's Break My 10 Bolt? (A4)
I have a 02 WS6 with Full exhaust, Lid, and 51k miles. I'm going to get a 3600 Converter (with cooler and shift kit) for it. The next thing I'm doing before my converter is tires and I'm thinking about getting Nitto NT05R (275/40/17).
My car is my DD and I go to the track maybe 2 times a month and about 8 times in the year.
Will this break my rear end?

Thats a loaded question, you can break a 10 bolt on regular old street tires. With you having an auto that will help a little. The 10 bolt is weak but some will take a beating. One of my good friends is cutting 1.53 50 foot times on a 10 bolt and is holding up fine. If I were you I would give them a try.

There's no way to know. Your 10-bolt is certainly more likely to break with NT05Rs than it is with regular street tires. As shown above, some people break 10 bolts on street tires, and some people cut incredible 1.5x 60's on them with slicks.
In general, if you're under 400rwhp (you are, given those mods), your 10-bolt is relatively safe -- especially with a stalled auto.
He has an auto.
